Loved the narrator.

This book is a mind twist, it took me a while to get through. The writing takes getting used to but once you do its Ok. I have the second book and definetly want to continue but whenever I think I have it figured out the next chapter said nope wrong 😂😂😂.

Livira and Evar's storyline is so strange and confusing yet leaves you wanting more.

I love the concept of the library it definetly has a Harry Potter and Narnia vibe.

The Exchange I'm still a little lost on.

This is one of those books I will re read to get a better understanding at a later date.

I gave 3 stars because again its such a mind twist which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I want a little less twist 😂🤷🏾‍♀️.

Looking forward to the next one,The Book that Broke the World.

This book was hard to get into and for me it didn't pick up until chapter 41 but even after that it got confusing again. I understand why they were so many mixed reviews. I do like Kaan.

I wasn't going to continue with this series but now I'm unsure, I won't be rushing to buy it when it comes out but would still like to know the answers to a few questions.

So Raeve had a baby? she forgot?

Khyzari is Raeve and Kaan kid well that is a plot twist.

I took me almost a month to read this book and I was prepared to give it a strong 3 but the last few chapters saved it.

I was interesting but slow it picked up towards the end. It has a little Narnia feel to it, in my opinion. They are hidden places on maps but you can only get to them if you have the map.

At times I felt like there was too much explaining and back story. Overall, it was a good book about maps and all the mysteries.

I LOVED this book, the book of Esther is one of my fav in the Bible.

📚 Let's get into the review.

Jayla very much annoyed me .
Roxana (Queen Esther) and Owen's story line also annoyed me especially Owen, its like they both had a death wish 😂.

Uncle Arsin(Mordecai) he was Ok but at time very selfish and thought he knew what was best.

I love the reference of Daniel in the lions den towards the end, gave me chills 😊.

But what I loved most about this book is that while reading I recalled the parts of the book of Esther that the author was referencing and I absolutely love that I was able to do, since this is a fantasy retelling of Queen Esther.

I knew what to expect going into this book but I was surprised still, I knew the type of ending because I've read the book of Esther, like I mentioned its one of my fav books.

When Roxana (Queen Esther) had to defend her people she showed and and showed out and I loved it. Praying and fasting is a very powerful tool.

When she asks Clemens to tell her uncle to ask all the faeries to put candles in there windows towards the castle and pray OMG , just like in the bible except they fasted 🥰. I created this scene in my head and I smiled.

I read the first book, The Firekeeper's Daughter back in April and I'm not sure why it took me so long to pick this up and complete the story.

Warrior Girl Unearthed follow the twins, Pauline and Perry as the navigate a summer program. It mainly follow Perry as she is learning to find herself and try to find another job, Perry likes to fish but she isn't allowed to do that as her summer job.

She switches jobs, four times in the course of the ten week program. The forst job with Cooper cleaning the musuem but its also where everything begins. A 'heist' is planned out to get back all of there ancestors that have been stolen from them where they are treated like artifacts in a museum.

Warrior Girl Unearthed takes you on a history lesson, the laws and regulations when it comes to getting human remains back from a museum so that they can bury there ancestors with respect.

The last two chapters for me wrapped this book up beautifully and I would recommend both books to anyone.

I saw someone else post the books the want to read before the end of the year on Fable, so I took a peak at my books and I would like to finish these by the end of the year.

I kept it small 6 books should be easy if they don't bore me two of them I previously started and stopped to read other books.

The Cartographers , I might DNF and The Book That Wouldn't Burn is taking forever to pick up but I'm going to power through that one bacause I already have the second book.

I'm glad I preorder the second book, Four Ruined Realms which come out in January.

Sora, Euyn, Aeri, Royo, Mikail and Ty all attempt to kill King Joon. It seems all these people secretly love the 'enemy'. Sora and Ty, Euyn and Mikail, Aeri and Royo makes no sense but it somehow works, I think 😂.

Obviously, they failed to kill the king but it was all a setup by the king because he was looking for the best thieves in the realm to steal something for him. So, instead of killing them they have to steal something from his sister who runs the other realm and they have a month to achieve it if not they will all be killed and everyone they love, so you know the usual threats.

I do want a little more back story and world building and less focus on the weird relationships they have with each other, hopefully the next book will do that.

Never let anybody make you feel as though your grief isn't valid, just don't let it consume you.

Sarah's impromptu trip I think was the best decision for her in that moment. A change of scenery away from all the noise and peoples opinion is never a bad decision.

Harold and Anna I knew he loved her 😊.

Sarah and Oran was like a breath of fresh air both grieving, one a lost of a child and another a wife. They both came to realize that life does go on after you loose someone, it just takes a little time. I'm happy they were both able to find love again with each other.

My second book by Evie Woods and I wasn't disappointed.

My taste for books has definetly changed over the years.

The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle its been at least 5 years trying to read you, its time for you to find another home.

Another set of books for my mom to take to the thrift store.

The only problem is now I made more space which means I have to buy more books, not sure if that is a bad or good thing 😊.

Martha’s life with her husband, Ephraim, and their children is detailed throughout the novel. Her family keeps her grounded, as she serves not only as a midwife but also as an herbalist.

The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon is set in a time when women were expected to be seen and not heard. It was a time when women weren’t allowed to testify in court unless their husbands or fathers were present. Martha stood up for what was right, regardless of the situation, and she defended others no matter who they were.
